Refund Policy
At Mobile DNA Tester, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and precise results. Due to the sensitive nature of DNA testing, all sales are final once a test appointment is scheduled.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to avoid any cancellation fees.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment or failure to appear result in forfeiture of the testing fee.
We understand that emergencies happen, and we will work with you to reschedule, where possible, but missed appointments without prior notice do not qualify for refunds or rescheduling without additional charges.
The first request to reschedule (with more than 24 hours’ notice before an appointment) is $25. Rescheduling for a second time is $75. If a client attempts to reschedule a third time, they must book a new appointment and pay the prevailing testing fee. Rescheduling less than 24 hours before a test results in a $50 administrative fee.
If sample recollection is required after an initial test and the participant is unable or unwilling to comply, no refunds will be issued, though the test can be rescheduled.
DNA Tests in New York
In accordance with New York state law, we cannot sell or ship at-home DNA collection kits to addresses within New York.
For DNA and paternity testing in New York, legal authorization from an attorney or physician is required, and a neutral third-party witness must be present during the sample collection process. This requirement applies to both court-admissible (legal) and non-legal tests.
